Mr. Rajiv Mishra is responsible for running CLP's business in India. He joined the CLP Group in 2002 and has over 20 years’ of experience in the power industry, both in India and internationally, mostly involved in project financing, investment appraisal, finance and accounting and general management. Before assuming the role of Managing Director of CLP India, Rajiv has held a variety of senior positions in the Power Industry viz. Deputy Managing Director/Chief Financial Officer of BLCP Power in Thailand, Finance Director of PowerGen India and Finance Director of LG Energy in Seoul, South Korea.

Rajiv has successfully transformed CLP India from a single-asset and project management company to a fully-grown organisation with presence across conventional and renewables sources of energy .

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (first class distinction) from BIT, Sindri and an MBA degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and is an Advanced Management Program Graduate from the Harvard Business School, Boston.

Rajiv is the Chairman of Association of Power Producers (APP) and the Co-Chairman of CII National Committee on Power. Through these, he plays an active role in making representations on issues concerning companies in the Power Sector in India.

Mr. Ashis Basu serves as President of Corporate Functions at GMR Energy Limited. 
Mr. Basu has been the Chief Executive Officer at Homeland Energy Group Ltd., from January 2010 to June 1, 2012.
 Mr. Basu served as an Executive Vice President of GMR Energy Limited. He headed the Commercial and Contract  function for the energy business and also heads GMR group's coal business. He has nearly 25 years of working   experience in the energy sector including power generation, transmission, distribution and coal mine   development in the commercial, finance and business development areas. During his career, he has been  involved in financial and accounting aspects of running a large private utility. He has key roles in the  development and financing of a captive coal mine, negotiation and implementation of high value construction contracts, operation and maintenance of such contracts for power projects with domestic and international suppliers, project financing involving multilateral agencies, export credit agencies, financial institutions,   negotiation of large value contracts for mine development and operation, setting up joint ventures and all  related commercial areas. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Homeland Energy Group Ltd. 
 Mr. Basu served for RPG Group and served as Chief Manager of Finance for CESC Ltd. nearly 17 years. 
 He served as Vice President at GMR Energy Limited and joined it on December 17, 2001. He served as the  Vice President Director and Director of PT Golden Energy Mines Tbk from January 2012 to May 03, 2013. 
 He serves on the board of GMR Energy Trading Limited and other Indonesian subsidiaries of GMR Energy Limited. 
 He has been Director of Homeland Energy since April 3, 2013. Mr. Basu served as a Director of Homeland 
 Energy Group Ltd. from April 3, 2013 to December 24, 2014. He served as a Non Executive Director of Homel and  Energy Group Ltd. from June 5, 2009 to June 27, 2012. He is a Chartered Accountant and has a BCOM Degree.

Mr. Ashok Kumar Khurana has joined Association of Power Producers (APP) in January, 2011 as First Director General.

He joined the Indian Administrative Service ( IAS ) in 1976, and took voluntary retirement from service in Dec,2007. At that time he was working as Additional Secretary, Govt. of India, Ministry of Power.

Before joining Govt. of India, he was the Principal Secretary (Power), Govt. of Uttar Pradesh and Chairman, U.P. Power Corporation Ltd.

During the service period, he has had wide ranging experience in Power, Finance and Economic policy across institutions.

His experience ranges

Across institutions- The World Bank, DFID ( UK ), GOI, Government of India, State Government and PSUs. During his three years deputation with the World Bank, he was involved with the first phase of reform in the Power Sector. As the Country Head (Energy), DFID, he steered the power reform process in Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and mitigation measures in Orissa.

Across Competencies in Power, Finance, and Economic Policy – Design and facilitation of Public policy, Power Sector Reform management, Financial restructuring of public utilities, Project financing, structuring (PPP mode) infrastructure projects for accessing long term funds, shaping regulation. Country's first non-recourse PPP project – 'NOIDA Toll Bridge' was structured by him.

Across process – Managing the complex Structural Adjustment Operation of GOI, reform process in UP, AP, MP and Orissa. Inter institutional coordination to focus on outcome. Considering his extensive experience in areas of design and facilitation of public policy and implementation of reforms, shaping of regulations, facilitating privatization and institutional development of public utilities, his appointment as the first Director General of APP is expected to play a pivotal role in the Association's efforts towards the growth of Private Sector participation in the Power Sector.

A chemical engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (ChE/1968/Nehru). Mr. Prasad Menon has over 40 years of diverse experience in some of the premier multinational and Indian companies in the chemical and power industry. He worked in ICI, Nagarjuna Fertilizers, Tata Chemicals and Tata Power from where he retired as Managing Director in January 2011.

He is currently serving on a number of Tata Boards, including Tata Industries, Tata Chemicals, Tata Projects, TATA BP Solar, Tata Consulting Engineers, Tata Quality Management Services and Tata Petrodyne Limited. He is also on the Board of Axis Bank, SKF and the Sanmar Group. He is the Chairperson of the Tata Group Safety Committee and the Group Climate Change Committee.

Apart from work, Mr. Menon is involved in various social activities. Mr. Menon is the member of the Advisory Council of IITB-Monash Research Academy. He is also a Member of the Governing Council of Centre for Environment Education, Nehru Foundation for Development.

Mr. J.P Chalasani, an Engineering Graduate from Regional Engineering College, Nagpur, India, is the Chief Executive Officer of Reliance Power Ltd. He has more than 30 years of experience in power sector having worked in both Public and Private Sector. He started his career with NTPC in the year 1979. He moved to Reliance Group in the year 1995 and led the Delhi Distribution Business for the group in 2002. He was Director (Business Development) of Reliance Energy Limited from January 2003 to March 2008 responsible for infrastructure projects such as Mumbai Metro, Roads, SEZs and other Infrastructure business of Reliance ADA Group. In 2008 he became CEO for Reliance Power Limited responsible for power generation business of Reliance Group.

Mr.J.P Chalasani went on to become the 2nd Chairman of APP after the completion of Mr. Prasad Menon's term.
